Green and Purple is a financial outsourcing agency which provides a scalable outsourced accounts department to a variety of client businesses as part of the Ashcroft Partnership Group. Ashcroft is a full service business and tax advisory practice focused on entrepreneurial businesses and private clients.

Lee Maughan, Director at Green and Purple, spent the first 15 years of his career in accountancy practice before taking the role of CFO in a high growth privately owned business, giving him a unique perspective across both areas of expertise. Lee commented “We act as an accounts department and finance function for our clients, taking care of book-keeping, VAT, payroll and PAYE, administration and financial management. For some of our clients we even deal with tax authorities, banks, suppliers, customers and other third parties which leaves them free to concentrate on core business”.

It was in managing these client banking transactions that the team at Green and Purple saw that the majority were still using high street banks to make their international transactions and immediately spotted a way that they could help to cut costs.

Lee continued “Clients rely on us to identify processes and procedures that can be improved in order to maximise the bottom line.
